Virginia has 30 years cosmetic tattooing experience and over 40 years experience in the beauty industry. Virginia is a Master Cosmetic Tattooist which means she is a master in brows, eyeliners, lips, areola and scarring paramedical. To be a master you need to have at least five years experience, Virginia has 30.

Tattoo is applied (40 - 60 mins)
Ice pack and cooling down period (15 mins)
Perfection Touch-Up (4-6 weeks later, 30-60 minutes, $100) - please note this is an essential step.
Deposit
We require a $100 deposit to hold the 2 hour cosmetic tattooing appointment (this can be paid with Visa or Master Card). At no point will this deposit be refunded, however should you have a personal emergency and contact us within 24hours of your appointment, you can reschedule for no extra charge.
Will it hurt?
Like any tattoo or needle procedure there is some pain involved. However at the beginning of your procedure we apply a numbing creaming for 30 minutes to reduce the pain as much as possible. If you are significantly pain intolerant (and you stipulate this in advance) we can arrange for you to have it professionally numbed at a nearby doctor.

Virginia Scott is the go-to brow expert in Christchurch as she has been applying eyebrow tattoos for over 20 years. She uses a calligraphy brow pen-like device with angled needles on the end to draw tiny hair-like feathered eyebrow strokes. A plant-derived and hypoallergenic pigment is applied, which grabs on to the strokes, creating a real hair-like finish, which gradually fades after two-five years. Privacy Conditions
1. Consultations are required in advance of your appointment and can be carried out either in clinic or over the phone. Consultations are carried out free of charge, and we will use this opportunity to arrange your appointment
2. Due to the process of Cosmetic Tattooing being very personal, consultations are carried out on a strictly one on one basis. Please make sure that you arrive at the consultation and appointment on your own.
3. The treatment process is carried out on a one on one basis, and observers are not allowed due to privacy and safety reasons.
Who to choose (some friendly guidelines)
We understand there are many people applying these tattoos and therefore many options however we would advise caution. Virginia has had several clients come to her for tattoo corrections as inexperienced people have applied them incorrectly. Please consider a persons level of experience, whether they are a registered beauty therapist (rather than a makeup artist) and whether they are using the correct tools (i.e hypoallergenic pigment).

Areola Breast Re-Pigmentation Treatment
Areola Repigmentation is suitable for post breast-surgery patients where the nipple has been removed. This is a specialty area of medical tattooing that requires advanced education, training, and experience. Areola Repigmentation techniques can “create” an areola after breast reconstruction, minimise the appearance of scars, or restore an areola to a more natural looking color and shape.
